Last few days, send us your snaps to win an Outstanding prize

The South Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty photo competition closes on Sunday 30th September Competitors have 10 days to email in their favourite pictures of the area, to be in with a chance of grabbing a great prize. Pictures do not need to be taken this year but they must be of the South Devon AONB which stretches from Berry Head near Brixham to Jennycliff near Plymouth. See the map

Categories

The categories each with an under 18 section are:

  • A green and pleasant land:  Rural landscape and rolling farmland,
  • Into the Blue:  Exploring our five estuaries and fabulous coastline,
  • The changing landscape: Wilderness, the weather and natural elements
  • A landscape to live in: Towns and villages, wildlife and recreation

Prizes

Thanks to our generous sponsors there are some fabulous prizes on offer to the eight  section winners including a  Coast and Country Cottages voucher,  Bed and breakfast at Alf Resco’s in Dartmouth, outdoor activity vouchers, National Trust entry tickets, cinema tickets and photographic equipment. The winning images will be used in future AONB publications, promotional material and on the website - if you would like to see your photo in print please send us your pictures!

Exhibition

All finalists will be part of an exhibition to be staged at the Flavel Arts Centre in Dartmouth from 20th October – 19th November and at the Aerial Centre in Totnes in December.”
